California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (SB-657)
Bling Collection is serious about dealing with responsible manufacturers both here in the USA and abroad. We confirm that all our Vendors and Supplies adhere to sound labor practices and maintain safe, productive work environments, free from worker exploitation, for all their employees.
The Code of Conduct formally requires that all our Vendors and Suppliers (i.e. manufacturers) treat their employees with dignity and respect.
This means Vendors and Suppliers must now certify they are providing employees with a safe and healthy work environment; that they are paying employees fair wages; and are prohibiting child and involuntary labor.
Vendors and Suppliers must also certify that those providing materials to Bling Collection must comply with the Code of Conduct.
To ensure compliance of California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (SB-657)
Bling Collection will advise its supply chain management on the perils of human trafficking and slavery and on how to mitigate the risks of these activities within the supply chain.
Bling Collection will engage in un-announced, on-site inspections of manufacturing facilities, Vendors and Suppliers offices, employer-provided housing and review employment-related documents pertaining to employee policies. If any Vendor or Supplier is found to be in violation of this Law, Bling Collection will take swift and appropriate action against any Vendor or Supplier who fails to meet these standards.
